Pharmaceutical Packages - Basic Principals
The Pharmaceutical packages industry has many different approaches and must
fulfill a wide range of conditions. Generally speaking, we can divide the
pharmaceutical packages design principles into three categories. The first is
functionality which includes protecting the drug from heat, light, and oxygen
effects. Sterility demands affect the package design and the way the drug is
administered also has an effect on the package's shape.
Secondly, marketing and advertising - designing the such packages to be more
appealing to the customer can help the manufacturer to outrun his competitors.
Reducing the cost of the package helps reducing its retail price. Different
markets may form different opinions about the specific drug, based entirely on
its packaging. A package that looks plain in the customer's eyes, though being
just a shell for a drug which the customer needs, can cause a negative opinion.
Just think how you would react if you got your medicine in a white, smooth,
plain plastic bottle with just the name of the medicine on it.
The third is law requirements. There are different laws and regulations
regarding packages for medical/pharmaceutical needs. For example: most of the
packages should be child resistant. When dealing with drugs for the golden age
community, the pharmaceutical packages should be designed to be very user
friendly and not complex. The law requires each pharmaceutical package to have
several directions and warnings for safe use of the medicine it holds.
Many people don't realize that pharmaceutical companies need to make special
efforts in order to design their pharmaceutical packages. Although rather than
buying drugs because of their pretty package people do so because they need the
medication for health reasons, it is still obvious that packaging has an effect
on marketing and branding. As we can see, pharmaceutical packages like any other
packaging need to be treated with special attention. It begins with the basic
need for a way to deliver the medication, orally or by injection for example,
and ends with people's conception that pretty and appealing pharmaceutical
packages probably contain a quality drug.

The Hidden Benefits of Venom Exposed
When we talk about venom, the first thing that comes to mind is the painful
experience of being bitten or stung. The reason for this growing fear is that
venomous snakes have access to almost any place. The homes for sale real estate
office, however provides the option of trapping the snakes. In your homes, you
can install special traps at doorways and other inlets to your house. Whether it
is snakes, scorpions or bees, the real fright is their venom. But very few of us
know that the venom these loathsome creatures produce has several benefits to
humans.
Venom can help us combat a variety of conditions and diseases. It certainly has
a lot of medical uses. Venom from certain bees is effective in the treatment of
bursitis, tendinitis, and asthma. Surprisingly, it also helps to reduce high
blood pressure and hearing loss.
Coming to snake venom, it is capable of killing 10 men from a single bite.
Snakes have been some of the most feared reptiles on our planet and for good
reason. But recent studies indicate that snake venom can be used to fight
cancer. Snake venom contains a number of proteins that can effectively cease the
outgrowth of cancerous cells. Venom actually acts as a growth inhibitor for such
cells. These proteins from the snake venom can also help in preventing heart
attacks and strokes.
When we move on to scorpions, there are chances that you might have never come
across one. The reason is that they have a particular habitat and it is quite
unlikely that you stumble across their path. As compared to bees and snakes,
scorpion stings are encountered by very few people. There is also a possibility
that many have not even seen one ever.
Scorpions are nocturnal creatures whose venom has sufficient use in medicine. It
has been discovered that protein found in its venom can aid in the treatment of
brain cancer, the most disastrous form of tumor.
It is understandable that a layman cannot have actual knowledge on the benefits
associated with bees, snakes and scorpions. These were just a few ailments that
we can fight off with the aid of these poisonous substances. However, the list
does not end here and there are many other diseases and illnesses that can be
treated by protein found in the venom of these creatures. The means to extract
the useful protein from their venom and the hunt to discover their further
benefits remains to be a part of active research. You never know, perhaps the
next cancer drug that you hear about is formulated from venom of these
creatures. Then these horrific creatures might not be so threatening after all.
These were some of the hidden benefits of venom that most of us seem unfamiliar
of. Maybe next time when you come across these wrongly perceived loathsome
creatures, you would not be so quick to kill them off. After all, the venom
extracted from these creatures can help in saving your life one day. This is
just another instance where the cure for a disease has come from Mother Nature
herself.

Always Tired? Take Control
If you are always tired then you need to go to the doctors. Only a small
proportion of people actually do this because they think that they won't be able
to find anything wrong with them. In most cases they won't but you never know.
Why take the risk as you have nothing to lose by going?
I have suffered from always feeling tired for many years but I didn't do
anything about it. I thought that nobody could do anything. In the end I did
visit the doctor. Like I thought they weren't able to help but at least it ruled
a lot of things out. For a while I didn't know what to do. I decided to help
myself get better and advise you do the same but only following your visit with
your doctor.
If you are to help yourself then you need to be motivated. If you weren't always
tired then what would you be doing? These things can be your goals. Write each
of them down as you think about them. You can use these as your motivation.
Now order all your ideas and just concentrate on the top one. When do you want
to achieve this by? Now think of a reward that you can give yourself if you
manage to do it. It doesn't have to be big and you might find just doing the
activity is a good enough reward. You have to want to accomplish it though.
After you have your ultimate goal sorted you need to think about the individual
activities that are required to achieve it. Now they will depend on what your
goal is but they will be in someway to help with stopping being always tired.
You can think of improving your diet, your sleeping patterns and getting out the
house more. There are lots of things that you can do.
It is those little things that you make sure that you get done each day. Don't
worry about the big goal just make sure you work on those little thing and you
won't be always tired in the future.

The Many Benefits Of Drinking Water On A Consistent Basis
There are many benefits of drinking water like maintaining the blood
circulation. The drinking water maintains the water level in the body to a
comfortable level thereby making the process of metabolism quite easy for the
body to perform.
If you are dehydrated then there are lots of chances for your body to shut down
working and worse than that there are chances for you to die out of dehydration.
Water forms the major part of body and the tiny little nerves that forms the
integral part of the body is also a kind of water way.
When signals are sent through the nerves from brain to the other parts of the
body the water plays an important role in carrying them over to the destination.
If you get dehydrated then there might occur a situation where these signals
from the brain to other parts of the body may not travel properly. The signals
get distorted thereby making your internal system bit down.
On the other hand the digestion will be proper only if you have enough water in
your body. So drinking enough volume of water must do a world of good. Drinking
water is one thing and drinking pure water is another thing that you have to be
concerned about. If you do not get t drink pure water then there are chances for
you to contract an illness.
Many of the diseases spread through water and it is only for your own good that
you get to drink pure water. Water may contain lead or any other metals
depending on the source. If you can filter the water then it is great. If you
can purify the water by boiling it then you should be perfect with the drinking
water. If you do not get enough water to your body then you may be eating lots
of food without breaking any considerable amount of calories which is futile.
Simon Kendal has experience dealing with the benefits of using soft water. He
shows the importance of using kinetico water softeners to soften water and make
it a lot more useful. Simon also shows the benefits of using an electronic water
softener on a regular basis.

How Does Colloidal Silver Help Heal Cuts?
We need, at first, to examine how the body functions in a normal way. You may be
aware that your body sheds its entire skin every 8 to 30 days, and replaces it
with new skin cells. This process may be accelerated by prolonged exposure to
direct sun light, and many of you will peel sheets of skin, rather than small
flakes, (these flakes account for up to 80% of household dust!) The blood is
made up of three major components; red blood cells which carry oxygen and
nutrients to all parts, these are called erythrocytes; white blood cells, which
fight infection, called leukocytes; platelets, which are a clotting agent,
called thrombocytes, and various proteins and chemicals carried in the plasma.
In the case of accidental trauma, such as a cut or a burn, the body reacts
instantly, by reducing the blood supply to the extremities, in order to prevent
excessive blood loss. This has the effect of making the casualty feel faint, the
same effect being observed in witnesses, whose body reacts the same way. The
body then sets about affecting a repair, rushing white blood cells and platelets
to the site to prevent infection and stem the blood flow by clotting, forming a
scab. Any toxins formed by the trauma are eliminated and carried away. On
occasion, cuts may be too severe for the body to repair, and in these cases,
stitches may be required. Once the scab drops off, sometime later, faint
scarring may be observed. Under the skin, repairs have already taken place,
sealing the cut.
This is where Colloidal Silver comes in. In his book, The Body Electric, Dr.
Robert O. Becker reports that application and ingestion of Colloidal Silver
accelerated the healing process by around 50%, and has a positive effect on the
prevention of infection. Furthermore, he observed that with the application of
Silver, the body not only provided replacement cells to replace those damaged,
but also, for every cell produced, an unusually specialised cell was also
formed, plus a duplicate cell, as the normal cell divided.
This "specialised" cell was then able to act as a stem cell, which can morph
into any type of body cell, and travel to where needed. Thus it would not only
duplicate and repair skin tissue, but could also regenerate damaged muscle as
well. He noted a reduction in the production of scar tissue, and a lessening of
the dimple effect at the site. It may be that the Colloidal Silver had, in some
way, stimulated the DNA to produce these variant cells as a way of rapidly
promoting the repair of the traumatised area. It was also found that the
application of silver rods to the skin, and the passage of a small electric
current through them had similar effects.
Whatever conclusions are drawn, it is a fact that colloidal silver is a known
disinfectant and antibacterial agent, which is non-irritant, and perfectly safe
for topical application, and should be part of everybody's first aid kit.
Marjorie Thornton is a writer and researcher in the field of natural health. She
has a keen interest in the healing properties of Colloidal Silver. More
